I have seen many variants but in general they have in common an elongated and thin shape and the aromas of citrus and cinnamon

  • 100 g flour
  • 100 ml water
  • oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 teaspoon powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel

Servings: 15

Preparation time: less than 60 minutes

RECIPE PREPARATION Mexican donuts-churros:

Put water on the fire with a pinch of salt and when the water boils add the flour, mixing with a non-metallic cloth. Add the powdered sugar.

Take the composition off the heat and try to get a dough as compact as possible, without lumps.

Fill a garnish bag with this composition and make spiral shapes in the pan with hot oil.

Leave them until golden on both sides, then remove them on a paper towel.

Roll as hot as possible with a mixture of brown sugar and cinnamon.
